Description
This Bizen ware single flower vase, crafted in the 1980s, bears the potter’s mark “与” on the base. With its natural gradation from earthy orange clay to soft ash glaze, the piece embodies the rustic beauty unique to Bizen ware. Its tall, graceful form highlights the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi, perfect for a single seasonal flower.
Though it shows some minor scratches from age, the vase remains in very good condition overall. A refined piece for tea ceremony display, ikebana practice, or as a centerpiece in minimalist interiors.

1980年代に作られた備前焼の一輪挿しです。底部には作陶印「与」が刻まれています。赤褐色の土から灰被りのやわらかな釉の自然なグラデーションが美しく、備前焼特有の素朴な美を伝えています。高さのある端正な形は、侘び寂びの感覚を漂わせ、季節の一輪を引き立てます。
経年による小傷はありますが、全体的に良好な状態を保っています。茶席の花入れや生け花の稽古、またはシンプルなインテリアのアクセントとしても最適です。
